Louis Balletta (SAG-AFTRA) is a New York based actor who is involved in filming multiple TV/Film projects shooting in New York and Los Angeles. His quality work spans a decade and has made a big splash since he first began his training with famed acting guru Susan Batson many years ago.  (Please look below for Louis’s Bio written in his words about the things LOUIS wants you to know like his beloved angel dog FOXY he shares an unbreakable bond with!)

His most recent work is Law n Order with scenes with Ice T and Molly Burnett for the "Bubble Wrap" episode where he portrays a gangster. He just filmed an episode with director Michael Patrick King for the heralded "Sex and the City" reboot, "And Just Like That" on HBO Max.

And tall blue eyed actor’s episode of ABC's "Blacklist” came out and aired on ABC/Netflix this past year.

Other recent TV works include Fox’s “Gotham” and an episode on Fx network’s “Happy!” starring Christopher Meloni. Louis Balletta currently has a  national TV commercial running now on three channels for the company "Eezee Choice", a labor union alternative in which he is the ambassador for.

Louis’s films "Long Nights Short Mornings'' and “Shaded Reflections” reached critical acclaim and were on the festival circuit.  The actor completed production of “Long Nights Short Mornings'' written and directed by Chad Harbold starring Shiloh Fernandez, where he played a quirky abstract artist from Brooklyn. “Long Nights Short Mornings” premiered at The prestigious “South by West Film Festival” (SXSW)

In his first lead Actor role, he starred in "Shaded Reflections" which premiered at the Manhattan Film festival and was even displayed at the elite Cannes Film Festival 2015.

The New York actor started in the print industry primarily booking fitness modeling jobs for magazines like Men’s Health and Exercise for Men and while going to castings booked some commercials.  This piqued his interest and Louis got the acting bug.

Louis writes comedy and has performed his own material in stand-up form with coach/director Susan Campanaro and Kelly Lynne.  Although not currently on the circuit he experienced great success at well known clubs like The Stand and Stand Up NY.  “Writing comedy is one of my favorite things in the world.  It’s a cathartic release.  I can much better formulate a joke while writing than be quick with it in person.”

In recent  years he hosted an NBA Podcast on Spotify and Apple music via the company Revolver. Other hosts for the channel were Mario Lopez and Dr. J (Julius Irving).  He’s also a writer of biographical narratives for NFL and MLB companies. He worked at La Calle Tv doing on- camera journalism with world renowned journalist Jorge Viera from Telemundo and Univision.

For leisure he enjoys stream of consciousness writing, meditation, and spending time with his family and beloved pomeranian Foxy. He considers himself an “extreme do lover” in his own words.  “Foxy has changed my life. She’s made me a better person.  I love her and she is in my heart.  She is my heart. I wouldn’t be me without my Foxy.”

Theatrically he's trained by Susan Batson Studios, Michael Howard Studios, And Stella Adler School. He's been coached by Kate MacGregor Stewart and Chris McGinn as well. He has also written and produced material both in narrative and documentary form, working under Vivianna Films and Destined Entertainment. He resides in the artistic location of the West Village, NYC and is enrolled in famed acting guru Susan Batson's Gold Dust Master Class at the Times Square Arts Center. Louis comes from a very athletic background and takes weekly boxing, MMA training, stage combat, and film fighting classes at Cinematic Fight Studios and performs his own stunts. Foxy And Louis

936D6A74-CCE6-4EBC-AA65-7F00279C76EB.png

As the New Year dawns, I take with me not only hope and ambition but also the spirit of my beloved Foxy (she passed recently). She showed me that time is our most valuable asset - far more than money or achievement ever can be. No matter how old we get, it's often through personal distress – or learning from others’ mistakes– that we discover what truly matters in life.

Few experiences in life can equal the sheer bliss of being truly present with a beloved pet or person. In such moments, we share an immeasurable sense of oneness and calm that offers us completeness - something so precious it cannot be bought nor returned once gone. Cherish those seconds: for they will count forever.

When it comes to unconditional love, Foxy left me in awe. During her time with me - especially while she was sick - I felt a bond that only deepened when I showed her the care and attention all of us should try to bring out for our loved ones. She had more love than anything (or anyone) else around – except perhaps my mom! Although these moments were precious beyond words, this experience taught me something invaluable: you can end up loving someone else even more profoundly than yourself.

Nurture your loved ones, furry friends and family like there's no tomorrow - don't let the small screen take away from quality moments shared. Don't get side tracked by mindless patterning or career ambitions; life is far too short to keep that Insta Dm on lock-down! Put down the phone and pick up a smile instead – it’s time we remember that our days are numbered, so make sure you spend them with those special people (and animals) who just can’t wait for some of your love.

Do good for the world and its living creatures by contributing and helping others.  The  tinder swiping and Saturday night date plans can wait, your family needs you.  That   Snapchat notification that will eat up your next 30 minutes, just stole precious play time away from your lovely dog who has been staring aimlessly through your hand on your tightly gripped phone.  Get the ball and throw it for her.

Most of all, take the cue of the universe and it's signs.  It's whispering gently in your ear.  That is the wind of change and it's trying to blow but you keep getting in the way.  The goodness of your inner nature surrounds you and also resides in you.  Welcome it and accept it. The world is waiting to recapture your attention.  Your heart is begging you to slow down and notice the "gaps".

Usually the beings closest to you are the ones trying to guide you in the right direction.  And those same beings usually need your help.  It can be your mom, your brother, friend, or cat or dog.  Notice the stillness, the warmth, and inner peace that sparks in you when you can help them or simply talk with them…

that is happiness.

I LOVE YOU FOXY. God bless your little soul in dog heaven. That is the lesson you taught me.
